Education Consultant, specializing in Twice Exceptional Children

Founder and Consultant, Brideun Learning Communities

Marlo Payne, M.S., is a School Psychologist and Education Consultant. She obtained her graduate degrees from the University of Utah. Marlo has worked in both public and private schools and has served in a variety of learning and mental health centers. Marlo has also held employment with the Gifted Development Center and has consulted in Jefferson County's Public School Gifted Programs.

Marlo owns and operates 2e Consultant Services, a private educational consulting company specializing in meeting the needs of out-of-sync learners. Marlo advocates comprehensive services guided by a collaborative model --to identify a learner's educational and emotional needs and make the necessary connections for success. Marlo is, at heart, both an educator and an artist. She has two gifted, twice exceptional children.

Marlo's dream of a full service educational consulting company was realized in 2001 with the establishment of the Brideun School for Twice Exceptional Children. The school was a unique visionary alternative to traditional learning for bright, asynchronours, divergent, gifted, and twice-exceptional students that has expanded into the Brideun Learning Communities enterprise. Marlo assists in the establishment of these small, private educational programs that combine nonlinear thematic play-based curriculum with child-centered, interactive, therapeutic interventions.

Marlo Payne has published numerous articles and presented extensively on the subject of educating twice-exceptional children or asynchronous learners. She serves on the editorial advisoryboard of the 2e Newsletter and gives lectures across the country.
